On Wednesday December 3rd, 2025, the Toy SIG group completed a successful season with Distribution Day. Ms. Santa Claus Donnah Wenstrom oversaw the donation of more than 2,000 beautiful handmade wooden toys to local children's charities including CASA, Catholic Charities, The Children's Cabinet, UNR Head Start, Reno-Sparks Tribal Council, Kids Kottage, Salvation Army, and the Washoe County DA Office.
Representatives of many of the recipient organizations came to the shop to pick up the toys, while the rest were delivered by Woodchucks. The event was covered by local ABC affiliate KOLO and the members celebrated with a potluck lunch afterwards. See the story here:
