The Scroll Saw Special Interest Group will relaunch on Wednesday March 15th at 2:00 pm. We will meet every other Wednesday from 2:00 until 4:00pm. I will provide a project to work on and of course you are always welcome to bring your own project. If you are having problems with your personal scroll saw you can bring it in and I will advise you on the issues you are having with your machine.
The first session I will discuss blade choices and how to use them. We will also discuss patterns and their application. I will have practice boards to show you how to cut soft and hard curves as well as straight lines and sharp turns. For those of you who do not need instruction I will have a small project ready for you to try. Attached is a photo of the finished project.
If there is enough interest, I will hold an evening class as well. The time will be determined by our schedules and the shop availability. Contact me to discuss your availability.
