The above photo shows Kari with the completed Desk Clock/Photo Holder that was the result of the four hour woodworking event. Each student went through several stations, each about a particular woodworking skill. For album click here VA class Trial Run #2
Mary Sedgwick, as Woodchucks Veteran Coordinator, reported "Aside from a few kinks to be worked out, we had another very successful class Saturday. We had 5 students: 2 from the Nevada Veterans Coalition, 1 Woodchuck member, and 2 VA employees. Please see the attached pictures with smiles and attentiveness galore. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP!"
This "Trial Run" was about validating the process Mary envisioned for this project she designed. This was a successful prelude to February 28th class for out-patient Veterans
