The Digital SIG is reforming and will now refocus on two key themes - 3D Printing and Laser Engraving. The club would like to thank Jerry Alterman for stepping up to lead the SIG.

To kick start the printing and engraving the Club has purchased a multi-color 3D printer and a laser engraver with a rotary attachment which will be available on Club nights. The current plan is to restart on Monday 30 September at 7.00pm and to meet every other Monday.

3D Printing

The SIG will focus on the use and maintenance of 3d printers. Sessions will focus on the Club's Bambu A1 multi-color printer (see photos below) but Club members can bring in their own printers if they wish.

Laser Engraving

The SIG will focus on the use and maintenance of diode lasers. Sessions will focus on the Club's RAY5 Laser engraver (photos below) which has the optional air assist and rotary attachment, but members are free to bring in their own machines.
