2017 Toy Distribution

The Toy Special Interest Group distributed 1800 beautiful hand made toys to 14 different charities.

The Nevada Woodchucks is a non-profit educational organization (501-C3) dedicated to teaching the skills of woodworking in the Northern Nevada area. Our goal is to educate and promote woodworking skills for our members and the public by offering programs and learning opportunities, while benefitting the community that we serve.

We are based in the Reno/Sparks area and we have members from all over northern Nevada, Truckee and Lake Tahoe. At our general meetings we share ideas, accomplishments, techniques and woodworking projects. Our members have an opportunity to showcase their latest work with input, critique and suggestions from the group.

Our SIG (Special Interest Group) meetings include hands-on workshops, skilled demonstrators and discussions of tools and techniques.
